The West Point Public Library

will be open by appointment only starting June 1.

The West Point Public Library will be moving into Phase 2 of our phased reopening plan on Monday, June 1. At that time, the Library will reopen to the public by appointment (12-4 pm), only for material checkout, with no more than 2 people scheduled at each 30-minute time slot. The newspaper may be read, 30 minutes daily. Computers will be available by appointment (12 – 4 pm) and limited to 30 minutes daily.? Only two computers available at one time due to social distancing. The Summer Reading Program Grab N Go kits and Teen/Adult Bingo cards will be available for pickup in the Lobby. Lobby pickup services of materials will continue and be available M-F 1:00-4:00. Patrons can reserve items online through our catalog or call ? (319) 837-6315.

Tumble Book Library

?TumbleBooks are animated, talking picture books which teach kids the joy of reading in a format they'll love. TumbleBooks are created by taking existing picture books, adding animation, sound, music and narration to produce an electronic picture book which you can read, or have read to you. TBL also includes National Geographic videos and games. With a school licence, teachers and students have access to the Common Core Portal, quizzes and teacher materials/lesson plans!
